CAINO is a melodic crust trio from Palermo, Italy. Formerly members of Values Intact, L.E.A.R.N. and Cadaver Mutilator started a painstakingly research that led them to a dark, melodic core into the powerful crust music rhythms and sludge thickness. CAINO's "Exegesis" speaks both about the lies that religion took over mankind in history and the daily lobotomia that people's ignorance still sufferfor fans of: all pigs must die, wolfbrigade, victims)

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN unleash a torrent of ear-rending bass and drums power-violence on their 1st full-length "failed species". Comparisons can easily be made to contemporary power-violence greats like WATER TORTURE or IRON LUNG and grind legends such as THE AFTERNOON GENTLEMEN. The performence captured on this album is characteristically tight and concise. It will reduce the listener to embracing their inner caveman!
Next exit Bremen. Hell yeah, 22 years is a f**king long time and it’s hard to believe that the recording of these nine tracks are that old - and yet, the "1996 reconstructed" stands the test of time - it's still as fresh and vital as when it was recorded. CAROL was permanently disbanded in 1997 after their brief existence and was another legendary band of the almighty mid-90s Bremen scene, with members involved in bands such as SYSTRAL and MÖRSER. It's very difficult to find the words to describe their music - they obviously take all kinds of elements from hardcore and metal just to create the most perfect mutation of all of them in the form of songs that come alive as new and unique entities. Their blend of discordance and precise, barrelling riffs, laid out within the framework of frantic bursts of violence and chronic brutality, combined with the most ear-splitting vocals around is what CAROL was all about. What really sets CAROL apart was their absolute, unrelenting passion for the chaotic brand of hardcore they played. "1996 reconstructed" is what you've been waiting for: a collection of nine lost songs (two previously released tracks from the "cry now, cry later vol.4" compilation and their split 7" with STACK) and seven new tracks from the same recording session in 1996. Everything has been remastered for pristine sound quality, while maintaining the raw, frenetic feel the band had always given off. Listening to this album repeatedly just might kill you, but at least you will die with a smile on your face. Do not pass on these lost songs - fury, emotion, intensity, it's all here in spades. CAROL has helped to shape a style that has been imitated over decades by countless bands but remains unequalled. There’s no better time to (re)acquaint yourself with a band that’s gone, but certainly not forgotten. REGULAR BLACK vinyl (limited are sold-out) comes with an inlay, a small poster and includes a digital download card with the three additional tracks from the 7".
Texas duo Cara Neir return with “Portals to a Better, Dead World”, their first full length to appear on vinyl. Fans of the band won’t be disappointed as its Cara Neir at their best. “Portals…” is full of instantly catchy songs and ferocious riffs.
“The fact that a band can bring together so many different sounds and still sound cohesive is a laudable feat” – The Inarguable
the first full length to appear on vinyl.
I do love it when bands sum up their sound in their album title, and here, Denver, CO crusty grind/sludge guys Catheter do just that on their third album. And doom violence (as in power violence) is apt, as on this, their first full-length since 2005, the band lay down a very raw assault that goes from raging, Relapse-style grindcore to crusty sludge to sloppy, squat-level doom. Sometimes, as in "Prosthetic Mind" and "Conspiracy Control," a bit of a groove is even attained, before the tunes devolve into double-bass-led, quick-time death metal stomp, then Slap-a-Ham-worshipping power violence and then grind, always the grind. With this album, the band firmly place themselves in with the Phobias, Goatsbloods and Agents of Satans of the world, which is great company to keep. All this and a smart 28-minute run-time? And a song called "Doom to Grind"? Uh, yes please. Limited on 591 copies!
I.D. belgian grindpunx are back with a blast!
CoD: In your face oldschool grind mayhem!
The sicilian cavemen from CAVERNICULAR are back with their second release in order to show "Man's Place in Nature". More anger, more speed and more hardcore attitude than on its slightly more metallic predecessor make this record quite a dazzling experience that fans of 90s grindcore should dig.
Corpse Flower Records is honored to release the vinyl edition of Halo, the debut from experimental noise rock unit, CELAN.
Featuring a veritable who’s who of prominent experimental musicians including Unsane frontman Chris Spencer, Einstürzende Neubauten/Redux’s keyboard player Ari Benjamin Meyers, flu.ID’s Franz Xaver and Phil Roeder along with Oxbow guitarist Niko Wenner, CELAN’s Halo was initially released in 2009 via Exile On Mainstream Records. Now available for the first time on vinyl, the wax edition is limited to 300 hand-numbered and assembled copies and comes in three color variants:
100 translucent yellow
100 translucent red.
This is the final record from the Insect Warfare-influenced, vicious Florida grindcore outfit Cellgraft. After their final show on September 1st at the Brass Mug in Tampa, Florida they're calling it quits. They've generously left this unrelenting jagged shard of Grindcore as their final word. Their records have been tremendous, truly doing the grind scene proud, and it's really a shame that they've split - especially considering they deserve a ton of attention for their hard work and dedication to face shredding Grindcore over their short 3 year existence.Self-titled and raw as you could ask for, this record is as short as any GridLink release and approaching their level of might and ferocity, while sidestepping technicality and barreling head-long into darkened, brutal speed. Outside of the opening track "False Sequence of Value" there is only one other track of the 17 here that approaches one minute in length. The opener is also the slowest you'll ingest too, at least for the first minute as it clobbers you with a maniacal set of distorted groves.
modern BLACK METAL, cold melodies and dark atmosphere, sick vocals and blast beats.
a must have for fans of WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM/LITURGY/WOODS OF DESOLATION/DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT
this album is released as Vinyl 2LP+MP3 with printed innerbag and gatefold cover!
children of god from california feature ex-members of graf orlock and seven generations; those guys play a brutal mix of neurosis styled slow music and grind and aggressive hardcore… it’s sick !
"We Set Fire To The Sky is different in more ways than I can describe. Not only has their sound evolved into something bigger and better but the way of writing lyrics was different. The theme of the record is isolation; feeling isolated as a human, feeling isolated as a species, and embracing that feeling."
CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE are without a doubt one of the most apocalyptic bands these days : between blackened grindcore and filthy sludge, these four tracks are the perfect blend of all the most extreme stuff you could find. For fans of Today Is The Day, Robinson, Admiral Angry, Khanate..
On the other side, NESSERIA is delivering here their best material to date, still as intense and pissed than on their previous full-length, but in a dirtier and more complex way. For fans of The Secret, Buried Inside, Cursed or Trap Them!
PRE-ORDER: Will ship middle of October
Michigan-based grindcore cult heroes Cloud Rat return with Pollinator, the band's most intense and blistering recordings to date.
Over the past ten years, Cloud Rat has established itself as one of the most compelling bands in the underground. Over a staggering number of releases – four full-length albums, eleven EPs and splits, a live album, and various other comps, in one decade – the Michigan band has made a name for itself via sheer emotion and musical freedom.
NPR Music called Cloud Rat's 2013 album, Moksha, "a feral, fearsome and fearless piece of work." Noisey described a live show in 2015 with these words: "Cloud Rat is one of those rare bands whose music connects instantly, painfully – you feel the words, the riffs, and the all-consuming cacophony deep within the marrow of your bones, vibrating out into a hostile world."
Emerging from the space where hardcore punk spirals into grindcore, Cloud Rat is that and so much more. The band knows no limits and incorporates influences from across the map – black metal, noise, doom, goth, folk, and beyond – all while retaining its realness and urgency.
The first edition of Pollinator is released in a limited 2CD digipak and includes an entire bonus CD of eclectic, experimental material, with elements of industrial, acoustic, drone, noise, and shoegaze. A limited splatter vinyl is also available.
Cloud Rat have taken grind to the next level on Pollinator, and it's vicious.
"Tempestuous expressions for troubled times."
-Grayson Haver Currin, Pitchfork
"Cloud Rat is one of those rare bands whose music connects instantly, painfully—you feel the words, the riffs, and the all-consuming cacophony deep within the marrow of your bones, vibrating out into a hostile world."
-Kim Kelly, Noisey
New Orleans' The World is a Vampire delivers a serving of unsettled noisy goth punk. Add doses of 90's grunge and goth influence but create something truly nightmarish with it as they layer on bouts of vicious hardcore and moments of complete dementia. The sound is blown up as if played through mud, with huge distortion and the maniacal, shrieking, spectral howls of Bryan from Thou. This is a masterful melding of genres feat. KC from Thou/Treadles, Clayton of Heat Dust, Scott from Secret Passage, Michael from Silver Godling, and Rachel of Bitchface. Absolutely fantastic ugly punk for these times. Their side closes with a fantastic cover of Mad World by Tears for Fears. Michigan's Cloud Rat absolutely stuns here with some of their best material. A gorgeous haunting piano and vocals track devolves into the swirling maelstrom that I love Cloud Rat so much for - blistering and dynamic grinding hardcore with Madison's pure venom on vocals. Their side finishes with some fitting foul noise, putting a cap on this hideous masterpiece.
Moksha is an absolutely insane, ripping piece of blastbeat driven grindcore, fueled by 90's screamo-violence, punk, various kinds of metal and all kinds of other noises. Lyrically, the songs shift between personal and sociopolitical topics (often painful and explicit dealing with issues of drugs, neglect, emotional/physical/sexual violence, abandonment, poverty, racism/sexism/homophobia, etc), usually delivered poetically rather than straightforward.
A really intense and epic listening experience!

Old school crossover as performed by D.R.I., Wehrmacht, Cryptic Slaughter, add some 21st century intensity (and end up a bit in the vein of Municipal Waste), and add a healthy dose of Slayer, then cram it into the ever-blasting blender of grindcore..
Fear of musical routine. Will of pushing back boundaries with a classical rock instrumentation. Astounding violence executed in one of the most distinguished ways. Incredibly meticulous attention to detail. With so much selection criteria, very few could pull this all off whilst harnessing a consistent sound. And if there's one band that has always sweat blood and water to access there in the midst of bands like Starkweather, Breach, Today Is The Day, Neurosis, Oxbow and Converge, then it's without a doubt COMITY. A more than deserved sacrament after fifteen years of a spanner thrown in the works, between disillusions, line-up & record label issues amongst many other aborted plans - going as far as making them momentarily give up in 2007. COMITY have behind them fifteen years of noise and incredible live performances (with The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Cave In, Today Is The Day...) not to mention a discography with a fascinating progression which propel the band to the rank of one of France's biggest glories at the release of their second album "As Everything Is A Tragedy" in 2006.
"The Journey Is Over Now", their first full-length in five years, shows a band more ruthless and musically ambitious than ever before. Four tracks delivering 52 minutes of an oppressive but finely worked chaos : a maze of winding riffs and unique melodies. Recorded and mixed between Laval and Paris by sound sorcerers Amaury Sauvé & Sylvain Biguet, mastered by Carl Saff, this fine-cut monolith of darkness shows a band in constant soul-searching and who has been able to push their art in ways they never would have dreamed possible. Exhausting in their ability to bring fluidity and atmosphere to their extremely dense compositions, "The Journey Is Over Now" reminds that COMITY is, more now than ever before, a band impossible to pigeon hole. This is extreme rock'n roll, and nothing else.
20 songs of blasting Japanese power-violence, taking the genre to a new, almost metaphysical level. After honing their unique style of unrelenting fastcore on multiple EPs and Split EPs, Osaka's COMPLETED EXPOSITION drop 20 songs of crazed time changes at break-neck speeds. Gatefold cover with original artwork. To cite their motto: "Explore the Unlimited Possibility of Neo-Power Violence." A-fucking-men. Limited to 500 copies.
one sided, Gatefold 12"
"Rise of the Taurus" is the second full length Album of Corova. This record is rooted in the musical traditions of different bands such as Neurosis, Mastodon and Entombed. It´s a progressively creation and a fusion of these sound universes resulting in a brute-fragile and obscurely grotesque mixture of Doom, Sludge, Noisecore and Postmetal. Additional stickers, a poster (only vinyl version) and a download code for mp3´s are included. (bastardized)
HARDCORE. The four-piece from Milan, Italy have succeeded in creating a coherent, concise and abrasive hardcore record. "coarse", their 2nd full-length is a fantastic example of how a straight-forward hardcore record should be. It's visceral and unapologetic in its delivery and approach. Roughly 30min. - 11 songs, and a whole lot of pissed-off emotion - blasting, roaring shouts packed with a whirlwind of riffs going through a mixture of genres. Since their inception in 2012, COUNCIL OF RATS can be described as a blend of everything that hardcore has always stood for. Despite the fact that every song is a confrontation, there’s also a great deal of sensitivity contained the tracks. The emotional sensitivity doesn’t undermine the pure rage. Compared to their early work, "coarse" shows the band at their most confident, focused, and most importantly, their most viscerally impacting. "coarse" does not fail to deliver prompt and hyper effective firebrands. It’s fast and inflexible, conscious, angry and most of all, pissed as hell. "coarse" allows no time to catch your breath. COUNCIL OF RATS strikes fiercely and it’s still pretty good to hear such bands carry the torch of engaged music within the hardcore spectrum. Mastered by Brad/Audiosiege to get a scintillating result - the kind of record that hammers you from front to back - riffs aplenty, socio-political themed lyricism and musical complexity ensure an avid listener won’t get bored. Regardless of what you’re into, this is a record you have to hear. It's fast, it’s hardcore, it’s punk! Vinyl comes with an extra poster and includes a digital download Card.
Council Of Rats is a four piece band from Milan, Italy who formed in April of 2012. Council Of Rats features members of Seesaw and La Crisi. Council Of Rats play a scathing, unhinged, and venomous style of hardcore. Council Of Rats can loosely be compared to bands such as Glasses, Jungbluth, No Statik, and Punch. After releasing a stellar six song EP in April of 2013, Council Of Rats have returned with their debut ten song LP. Ill Weathers features ten songs of blistering no-frills hardcore that is impressive as hell. Seriously, Ill Weathers is completely off the hook and will definitely scratch your hardcore itch. (manic compression)
"Parisian filthy metallic hardcore act COWARDS returns with "Hoarder", the follow-up to 2012’s "Shooting Blanks And Pills". This new EP was recorded by producer Francis Caste (Kickback, Eibon, Arkhon Infaustus) at Sainte-Marthe Studio and illustrated by respected tattoo artist/illustrator Jean-Luc Navette. Five new tracks of throat-ripping hardcore/sludge, including a massive cover of 16 Horsepower's «Blessed Persistence»."
"Gathering parisians with an already strong pedigree in dark and heavy music, COWARDS regurgitates gutter hardcore, unhealthy sludge/doom and nauseous black metal in “Shooting Blanks And Pills”, their deeply raw and anxiogenic debut release. Only six months were needed to give birth to this full-length, monstrosity with a desperate urban feeling, bridge between the knife-in-the-heart crudeness of Eyehategod or Kickback and the majestic darkness of bands like Deathspell Omega or Thou. With a sound carrying smells of pissy streets and the dry blood you get for a sidelong glance, producer Francis Caste have perfectly catched the gist of these 38 minutes, recreating this forced apnea in a bile tank with a no frills approach.
Cowards features current and ex-members of Sickbag, Death Mercedes, Hangman’s Chair, Eibon, Glorior Belli, Dacast, Colossus of Destiny…
Würzburgs outstanding OMEGA MASSIF disbanded already some time ago. But this end was just a beginning for the members of OMEGA MASSIF. One part founded the band PHANTOM WINTER, another joined BLACKSMOKER and now also the last member (Michael Melchers - Guitar) releases a new project called CRANIAL. He found new partners in Julian (Bass, Vocals), Cornelius (Drums) and Bastian (Guitar, Vocals) and they began in late 2014 to write their first songs. The results are two heavy, sludgy Postmetal songs, which continue, where OMEGA MASSIF stopped. An epic, very consistent and heavy atmosphere builds up and will be brigtened up by clear melodic guitar lines. The band manages to create a great build up of suspense so that the songs never become boring or monotonous. Forget about all modern trends and hypes. This is classic heavy Postmetal. Two song with a lenghth of (each) over 9 minutes, don't create a feeling of an EP here. Other bands release albums with a shorter duration. The songs were recorded under the control of Tobias Anderko at the Blank Disc Studios. Mix and Master by Postmetal-God Roland / Tonmeisterei. Dead Ends will be released on CD, Vinyl, Tape and Digital. The Vinyl version has a screenprinted B-Side and the logo punched in the cover!
CREEPING CORRUPT - Brutal death metal worship for SUFFOCATION & ABORTED style. Made by punx from HOMOMILITIA, EVIL, WOJTYLA, DROWNED CHILD.
HELLISHEAVEN - raging crust metal blessed by DISCHARGE, BOLT THROWER, STORMCROW. 5 songs including STATE OF FEAR cover The Dreadlord! Done by dudes from SUFFERING MIND and H.407.
Split probably two most brutal punk bands in Poland nowadays!
In early 2014 members of Finisterre, Landverraad, Leechfeast and Lawine met up to create a new ferocious Project called CREVASSE. After their demo tape and several liveshows this is now their first output on 12" vinyl. Expect six loud, fast and angry songs that somehow hard to place in the right box. If you like D-Beat and chaotic fast hardcore and you are fed up with daily life, patriarchy and the world as a whole, you should definetly check this out. I once called it doomish powerviolence, but this doesn't really fit…think of Masakari or Heartless mixed with Catharsis and a touch of Punch.
The record comes in a thick, rough cardcoard cover incl. a huge poster and download card.
DOOM/SLUDGE. "ganz ins herz" is the 2nd full-length by CROWSKIN, a
Potsdam-based five-piece of gals and guys who grew up somewhere between
SABBATH heaviness and hardcore anger. Deeply rooted in the d.i.y. punk
ethos and influenced by classic and contemporary sludge-metal stuff,
they add a destructive noisy edge to all this and come up with an
ultimate expression of hateful loneliness and despair. Singer Alexandra
von Bolz'n expresses once more the disappointment of the human
incapacity to interact and cooperate with exalted Stefan-Georgian
lyrics, performed in ferocious and haunting screams and growls beyond
usual human voice experience. The band teams up with merciless assaults
of tormenting steamroller grooves and no-motion funeral dirges, built up
to monstrous guitar walls, notorious bass rumbling, pounding drums and
an ubiquitous Bonham-style ride cymbal - all this painfully soaked in
feedback and noise. The vinyl includes 5 lenghthy pieces that bring you
to a journey through the depths of human thoughts and feelings, enabling
you to release your anger and let your hatred destroy. The CD
additionally contains the previously released contributions to the "rot
box" and the "a fucking tribute to hellhammer" compilations. CROWSKIN is
proud being able to release this new album with the help of friends they
know for a long time and on labels whose previous releases paved the way
to the band's current outcome. Vinyl includes a digital download card.
Doom on, tune down, pass out! [PK #071]
In Germany it's hard to find artists working as hard as the Crushing Caspars for their career. The Rostock based-fourpiece played more than 1000 shows in 20 years. They appeared on famous festivals like With Full Force or Rock am Ring and have toured all over Europe with artists like Agnostic Front or as support for the mighty Suicidal Tendencies on the EMP Persitence Tour 2012. Besides that the Crushing Caspars released eight high-quality Albums and EPs. Their very first full-length record "Full Flavour" was released by the band in 2001 on Compact Disk. Within the time Caspars sold more than 10.000 copies of this legendary record without the help of a label. As this one is sold out Bastardized Recordings are proud to announce a re-release of “Full Flavour” as Vinyl-LP! The band describes its sound as Baltic Sea Hardcore, a sweeping mixture of Hardcore, Punkrock, Rock'n'Roll and a bit Metal in the vein of their personal heroes like Motörhead, S.O.I.A., Blood For Blood or Gorilla Biscuits - just to name a few. Influences you can explore in songs like "Caspars Attack" that are still highlights on every Caspars-Show and represents what the band stands for: energy, a good mood and a lot of fun on stage!
Awesome fresh Grind/Death Metal band from Houston, Texas, which formed in 2014 with members/ex-members from other Houston bands like Mindboil, Insect Warfare, P.L.F., Turbokrieg, Peasant, Niburu and War Master. This is their debut full length released by RSR. The music speaks for itself, with tasty riffs that contain a nice blend of death metal and full throttle blasting, like a barrage from a Katyusha Rocket Launcher. Fast, destructive, brief, yet devastating. Wasteland come - Wasteland goes...this is GULFCOAST GRINDCORE! For fans of Napalm Death and Repulsion
