The eternal war on blackened stenchviolence ever rages, as Ramlord is preparing to unleash a new 7" via Broken Limbs Recordings on March 10th. Having been comrades for several years ever since the band's split with Cara Neir, the time is right to unleash filth once again together.
Intense blackened hardcore mob Hexis have teamed up with harrowing sludge bruisers Redwood Hill for a split release that showcases two of Denmark’s most promising contemporary bands.
Hexis’ contribution, the absolutely terrifying ‘Tenebris’, is a furious little number, rife with black metal-esque bile and a palpable sense of anger. The track will also be featured on their upcoming album ‘Abalam’ which will be out January 11, 2014 through Musicfearsatan (France) and Halo Of Flies (USA). The band has also released a video for the song, created by Craig Murray (Converge, Narrows, Oxbox etc.), which you can view below.
Meanwhile, Redwood Hill dole out some slow motion punishment with the grinding ‘Applewhite’, resembling a much more evil version of Cult Of Luna. This is the first new material the band have released since dropping their monolithic debut album ‘Descender’ earlier this year.
The split is due to be released on November 11th as a 7″ picture disc, but you’ll have to act fast if you want to grab one – only 500 copies of the split are going to be pressed!
Remember from Dortmund saw the light of day in summer 2008. One year, one tour, one demo and many, many shows later, the guys finished their debut-7" 'Death To All Of Us' and the result is overwhelming. The five songs are intensive and stirring to the bone, full of desperation and disbelief, but always powerful and straight ahead. With this 7" you'll get some well done modern hardcore tunes with a punk attitude all along the line.
Every new year a new record of Remember. When I listened to the new songs for the first time, these new tunes sounded way harder and in fact a little bit more metallic than the songs I knew from the former records. Some people compare this EP to Rise And Fall, well, why not. I listened to the Into Oblivion LP and I really found some parallels, but that´s not the point... We made 50 liveshows-only records, which are already sold out. Now we have the regular pressing in green vinyl, in thai-curry-red and in old-friends-black.
The River Card - UK - and Unrestrained - USA - both play top quality hardcore, for fans of This Is Hell, Killing The Dream, Have Heart, Reign Supreme etc... This comes in a hand printed sleeve, hand numbered, 300 copies only, on black.
BLACK VINYL LIMITED TO 400 COPIES
dark blackened hardcore from Greece. In your face disturbing and noisy - Cory from Halo of Flies says they take elements of crust, hardcore, black metal & noise rock, then transform these genres into their own likeness. It just rips. This is the second recorded output from Ruined Families, a 7" that contains 4 tracks that take elements from Hardcore punk to Black Metal to the Ebullition Records catalogue to post-punk transforming them into a sound of their own. These are songs written in-between the directed death of a country and the moral death of its citizens.
