HALF GORILLA are from Milwaukee, WI play four songs that have a really thick, pummeling sound. KURSK, who have been forced to change their name to WOLBACHIA, are from Winnipeg, MB are here with three tracks that are best described as the grinding sound of gears in a machine.
two awesome new tunes from the almighty HAMMERS - name is programm these songs hit you like a hammer - melodic and heavy hardcore with a crusty edge. DOLCIM deliever and alternative recording of RICHARD and this fucking heavy as well but with this almost post rockish edge and atmospheric parts
HANGING ROTTEN create a great bastard between grind and sludge – it´s some kind of a mixture of the slow and gloomy parts of bands
like i.e. EYEHATEGOD, FLOOR, GRIEF and bursted out grind like AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, PIG DESTROYER, CATHETER…at some point their kind of musick is comperable to SOILENT GREEN, but i would say it´s
more rough – read: b.r.u.t.a.l.!
VOR is some classical grind from germany, with „modern“ metal influences
Ex. Taint frontman Jimbob Isaac returns with his new unit Hark. Their debut seven inch 'Mythopoeia' is released on July 30th, through the Destructure/SuperFi labels. The Welsh progressive-power-sludge trio carry Taint's torch forward, passed on from their legacy that began in 1994.With fresh chops and almighty riff power, Hark continue to fuse punk attack with Sabbathian dirge, and decorate post-whatever angularities with classic rock flourish. While Isaac's vocals expand on his tried and tested palette, his lyrics continue to shatter prose with bleak metaphor and acerbic spittle.Former Whyteleaf rhythm section Nikolai Ribnikov and Simon Bonwick, the Hark engine, bring an OCD approach to song craft, and endlessly creative pummel.Their dynamic chops, and blood lust for riffs meld with Isaac's honed and equally determined musical vision.'Mythopoeia' is strictly limited to 300 copies. Each sleeve is lovingly hand screened, and numbered by Jimbob, who is also the creator of the suitably crushing artwork. With plans for recording their debut full length at the end of the year, Hark will be making every effort in 2013 to make a mark as slab-like as their logo.
Harrowed is a power trio melding d-beat with the more “modern” hardcore stylings of Cursed or Converge, with some nifty flourishes of powerviolence and doom in the mix for good measure.
It’s stripped down and brutal in a non-boneheaded way, yet remains innately melodic, epic and heavy.
Art Of Burning Water continue to sound like themselves much to everyone's worry, on a mission to annoy all and sundry with their slightly faster take on their usual off-kilter noise-rock with definite hardcore leanings, like a sped up Keelhaul partying with Motorhead.
"Holy shit, these guys mean business. Now with business I don’t mean business like Metallica does it. Hävitys slams their songs against your face like a bucket of nails.
This is the authentic sound of aggression and shit hitting the fucking fan!
The material owes homage to early hardcore punk and it does so with pride.
There is dirt and filth in the sound and that’s just the way it should be.
What really stands out about Hävitys is the raw honesty and aggression. In the musical climate of today where overproducing albums is the strict norm it feels liberating to hear music that just goes back to basics.
One of the coolest elements on “Ei Paluuta” is the dual vocals that strike you both high and hard while adding the extra flavour to the music.
While this type of music is balancing on the verge of my comfort zone, I still have great regard for what these guys are up to.
I really hope to see a full-length album from Hävitys even if the 7” format does suit the concept way better."

The Austrian Grind-Machine MASTIC SCUM strikes back with a new output entiteled "DEFY". In collaboration with the Grindheads HEAD CLEANER from Greece a Split 7" EP with new tracks from both bands
will be released via Screaming Victims Records. MASTIC SCUM just announced a new Line-Up with Wolfgang Rothbauer (Thirdmoon, In Slumber, GodHateCode) in spring 2017 and entered Grindlab Studio in
summer to record three brand new songs for this release. On "DEFY", the band continues their unique style, combining Death Metal with Grindcore, spiked with industrial samples. Like on their last
album "CTRL" the new tracks guarantee a high technical level and a modern and powerful sound production. Remarkable guitar-riffs, massive grooves turning into brutal blastbeats and intense,
aggressive vocals define the soundwall of MASTIC SCUM. The 3 tracks of EP "DEFY" were mixed and mastered by Mike Kronstorfer at Metalforge Studio, the artwork was done by Headsplit Design.
The Greek Grinders HEAD CLEANER already raised their name in the underground scene with several high quality releases. Formed in 2002 the band plays intense Grindcore with elements of Death Metal and Crustcore. Their lyrics are highly reflective of the recent situation in Greece. Anti-establishment, anti-corporatism, anti-imperialism, and anti-origarchical themes frequently reoccur throughout Head Cleaner's body of work. HEAD CLEANER recorded also 3 new tracks for this release, gut ripping guitar, crushingly heavy distorted bass, pummeling drums precisely played, overlaid by powerful throaty growls and midrange screams. „Real Life Disconnection“ was mixed by Simos Lazaridis. mastered by George Bokos at Grindhouse Studio Athens and artwork was designed by Jim Evgenidis.
Screaming Victims Distro proudly presents the brand new work of the greek grind masters , the ep features 4 new songs !! A must for fans of Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Nasum!!! Killer release!!! Grab your copy now!!! Limited to 500 copies!!
After their full-length "hell is other people", HEARTLESS returns with 8 new blasts of steel city hardcore. This is the pure, relentless fury delivered in the same style as INTEGRITY, NAILS and CURSED that they've built a reputation on show after show, tour after tour. Vinyl includes a digital download card.
Herida Profunda kept us “busy” when they released a 12” split with one of the behemoths of crust, HELLBASTARD. Last summer they released another split, one of 7”, with Hello Bastards (a collective of musicians from Argentina, Brazil and Poland), in which it seems they are trying to answer the question “art of the sake of art or engaged art”. Hey you, yes you laughing because I use the term art for their brutal sound. You should consider that any music expression is art. Fast, loud and, of course, with short duration songs that are equally good for violence in the mosh pit and as an anger management method constitute this short release. I think that the Herida Profunda/Hello Bastards split is the epitome of the phrase “In Grind we Crust”, so… open a new browser tab, log in bandcamp and enjoy (though you are responsible if you experience side effects like breaking everything around you). On the other hand if you are annoyed by their political views in their music… Tough luck. It’s your loss.
On this epic split, Denmark gives us the bleak, avant-garde black-metal meets hardcore approach of Hexis, while Sweden delivers the aural assault of technical hardcore via black sludge from This Gift Is A Curse. No ears will be the same after listening to the over 11 minutes of darkened noise these bands have offered here. Complete with over-the-top packaging and frightening artwork from Jonas Holmberg, this long-awaited split record is the epitome of extreme music today.
Beautifully presented in Arigato fold-out covers, with printed inner-sleeves, and pressed on 70gm heavy-weight vinyl.
Black storm clouds of death are gathering over the graveyard, as the hands of the undead pierce the hateful soil. To me, this is the environment in which HEXIS, an awesome blackened hardcore band, thrives. These Danish hellions' music straight rips the hearts out of the weak, holding them out so we can watch them pump with fear. At times it almost feels like they are able to mold feedback and distortion into audio weapons that have the force to shatter all of the lies we have been taught. The riffs that this band manifests on every fucking tune are only one part of foundation of chaos that they possess. HEXIS totally wreck shop with the way they use space, so that you can see the faces of all of their sonic ghouls and feast on their death blows! HEXIS uses cryptic melodic magic to enchant the listener into a trance-like state, and the drums on this album speak ancient stories to your subconscious. The production on this album is rad as fuck – everything is mixed to the right levels, so that nothing is fighting, all elements are unified to conjure up killer rage.
Just after releasing their first effort (HKY "s/t" on music fear satan in 2009 and EIBON "entering darkness" on aesthetic death in 2010), the two bands team up to offer you 1 new exclusive track on each side of this 7" (500 copies all on black).
Two European heavyweights whose careers combined pass 40 years of Death Grind devotion, team up for the first time in a cult 7'' split picture vinyl, with brand new and absolutely exclusive material. The hell raising neck breaking death metal veterans from British DESECRATION and guts ripping gore/ grindcore Portuguese HOLOCAUSTO CANIBAL split is strictly limited to 500 copies only!
The Holy Mountain hailing from Tampa, Florida! The Holy Mountain play a brutal brand of hardcore punk. Using the d-beat, the blast beat, bitter demented vocals, and fucked-up over the top guitar leads, The Holy Mountain dishes out musical violence that has been compared to bands like World Burns To Death, Driller Killer, From Ashes Rise, and Deathside. Dan from Combat Wounded Veteran handles vocal duties and pens bleak, spitefull lyrics railing against attoricities and oppression and the concentraitions of power responsible for them! Cave Canem from Hannover, Germany play a brutall powerful hardcore that combine the pounding, downtunes metal style of MOTÖRHEAD with the brutally powerful presence of TRAGEDY, FROM ASHES RISE and some traditional and modern neo-crust hints. the new songs are more dark and slow…
THID is a four-piece band from Russia and play a brutal mixture of forward raging hardcore and infuriating angry bricks of harsh sound-walls. Th is 7inch is their second release aft er a demo and contains beside an intro eight songs which last from 22 seconds to over 2 minutes. Th ere is no time to grasp for breath. These recordings come around like a juggernaut and destroy simply everything. Completely pissed of vocals crush into fast to blast played drums and get stabbed by sharp set guitar-lines. A travel back in the days to bands such as Cursed, Systral, Acme and early Botch.
This bands are fuckin' wicked! Liverpools Equestrian Blastcore HORSEBASTARD team up with Viennese ruthless grinding noisecore NOISEBAZOOKA. Packed in sleeve with Dying in the floods art made by Christoph SCHIRMER (www.christophschirmer.com). Limited to 300 copies.
Pretty new Band from Eastern Germany with their first output on vinyl. The 300 copies of their demo were sold out immediatly! So it was definetly time for a follow-up. Fast Hardcore meets with chaotic powerviolence and topped with the brutale, angry voice of the singer. Comparissions to Glasses, Alpinist and Converge come up, but this band proves with this short record, that they don’t have to hide behind those big bands! Definetly ome of the bands bands coming from germany at the moment!
Hyena is a new hardcore-punk outfit out of the AJZ Bielefeld Crew and I think they choosed the very best and most suitable name for their band, cause the hyena-music is raw, rotten and simply a low-down bastard. The seven songs on this record vary from uptempo punkrawk to slowed down heavyness in a decuman rage. The lyrics dealing with the status of being and feeling fucked up in every aspect. These guys swing the sledge and bring down the foundation, the world is fucked and Hyena are the special task force to wreck up everything.
