"The band blends thrash and extreme metal, Swedish-influenced melodic death, and a good bit of chaotic hardcore. The pace is relentless, and the songwriting solid.
The sold out, sought for and self- released debut of the Finnish cult rockers Mansion, i.e. the We Shall Live EP, is now resurrected in the form of a second pressing by Streaks Records. The second coming arrives with an insert of the lyrics to the song We Shall Live for chanting lessons to the new cult followers.
”After my copy of their limited private released debut vinyl showed signs of wear from playing it over and over again, I had to ask the band to rerelease their "We shall live" 12" EP to make this outstanding piece of art available to a wider audience. Their historically realistic, somehow creepy yet morally righteous concept of Cult Rock that is based around the austere christian cult Kartanoism that existed in Finland between the twenties and fifties, hit me instantly and impressed me deeply. The music perfectly mirrors this atmosphere, presenting the songs like sermons that hem oneself in but beguile as well with its catchy melodies. The arrangements are elaborate and the voice of the frontwoman, named Alma after the original mother that founded the cult, creates a lot of dramatic tension. A totally focused and cohesive debut that crucially needed a vinyl repress.” -Matthias Wittwer / Streaks Records

Taking grindcore to the next level, Maruta returns with their sophomore release. Forward into Regression contains 16 tracks of deep seeded misanthropy that are armed to the teeth with an overabundance of surgically precise riffs, relentless speed, and volatile dissonance. Equally emotional as it is abrasive, this is truly an essential listen for ANY extreme music aficionado. If you think Dying Fetus is to soft and Misery Index are to slow, just try MARUTA. The vinyl edition comes in a deluxe gatefold cover on 300 gr. and heavyweight 180gr. vinyl.
MARXBROS are the (non)musical continuation of the Dutch legacy of Paul and Olav. This music picks right up where LÄRM and SEEIN' RED left off. For this recording (and hopefully subsequent ones) they have enlisted the expert bass playing of Chris Dodge from SPAZZ/STIKKY/TO THE POINT. The tracks range from fast to faster and are both punk and blast-laiden, but also have boot stomping parts. Seventeen tracks that bring the 80's back into 2017. On the flip side, Belgian TRAVØLTA have expertly crafted thirteen tracks of angry blasty modern hardcore inspired fast punk. Both sides are wicked fast and thirty tracks will make a bad day seem more bearable after this record makes your heart rate soar and temporarily makes you see red.
Finally a new record from this awesome band from Cleveland! Close your eyes and imagine that His Hero is Gone and Amebix got together and had a child… got it? Ok, now imagine that that child grows up in a dank room full of teenage angst, listening to nothing but Death Side and Disfear...
REGULAR LP VERSION PRESSED ON GREEN WAX (400 COPIES)
Swedish kings are back with fourth full length! Expect nothing but super fast, intense and pissed off Scandi thrash/punk. 24 songs in 26 minutes! Recommended for fans of MOB 47, KRIGSHOT, ANTI CIMEX, PROTEST BENGT!!!
Two of Sweden's most powerful bands team up to deliver 11 tracks of bulldozing crustcore. MASSMORD have proven on their previous 2 LPs that they're a force to reckon with and on this split they lay down 6 even more powerful tracks than earlier and prove that they had no problem handling the transition from two to one singer.
SHADES OF GREY make their vinyl debut on here and the only question you ask yourself is why they haven't done so sooner? 5 heavy ragers with dual vocals.
A double dose of downtuned hardcore punk that's perfectly matched, both musically and ideologically. Both bands have excellent recording production with an absolutely huge sound. Prepare to be blown away!
Austria. sick Death / Grind.
Very old recordings before they started to get more into rocking grind/metal.
The DEATH METAL juggernaut you have always asked for, a lovecraftian whirlwind of fierceness and nameless demons. Italian finest Death Metal commando at their debut. FINALLY ON VINYL!
For fans of Morbid Angel, Vomitory, Maveth and Vader.

"You walk into the club and Mindflair are blaring, you say "Hell yes"!!"
Two Guys Metal Reviews
"Mindflair are a very great sounding grindcore band with elements of crust and power violence" (8/10)
Doomed to Grind
"Imagine Napalm Death, Unseen Terror, Righteous Pigs and sludge metal maniacs Sour Vein all rolled up into one big fatty, and you get to smoke the sonic joint known as Mindflair"
"...a relentless wall of noise, some of the fastest drumming I have heard for ages, the most tortured screams replacing vocals and just endless distortion." (8/10)
Their 3rd album ! members of mörser, carol and systral team up to sho the world that Bremen is still the home of the most brutal bands… produced by Goran Finberg ( the haunted, in flames, opeth… ) this album has a heavy Swedish death metal sound, mixed with the elements, Bremen is known for ! so expect to get a mix of morser and late at the gates… “Minion show us something totally different, something much more violent and aggressive, than expected... the sound is violent, the voice is hateful and the riffs are keeping attention to the listener, there’s always something happeings, very good, and it's fast as I like for thrash, it's like Nasum playing thrash, may be because of the very aggressive voice!” ( bones brigade )
Ensorcelor come with one long track of creeping black doom. Slower and bleak but still keeping that fine melody. This is some of the sickest music we’ve released so far. Moloch on the other side come with their signature Eyehategod powerplay. Incredibly heavy and without any happiness to it. Put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger. We love this band and these dudes. Also the longest record we’ve put out so far i think. Here's the songs up on bandcamp. Enjoy
POST-HARDCORE. MOMENTUM formed in 2011, featuring members of LIGHT BEARER, FALL OF EFRAFA and PLAGUE MASS. This is the 2nd album by this outstanding band. MOMENTUM is playing driving, melodic and pissed off hardcore, both crushing and uplifting, ignoring sub-genres and getting back to the basics of why we love fast political music. Deluxe 180gr pressing comes with heavy cover and huge booklet.
Momentum formed in 2011, featuring members of LIGHT BEARER, FALL OF EFRAFA, PLAGUE MASS and XZieglerX, playing driving, epic heavy and melodic DIY hardcore punk, both crushing and uplifting, ignoring sub-genres and getting back to the basics of why we love playing fast political music. Influenced by the words of Carl Sagan, and other luminary thinkers, the music forms around a set idea, that of our place in the universe, the hatred and anger and stupidity of a species of ape, on a small insignificant planet, but also our ability to look beyond these facile ideas and appreciate and begin to understand the awe of the universe. with guestvocals from TRIAL, MONACHUS and PROTESTANT/HALO OF FLIES RECORDS! Deluxe pressing with 180 gram deluxe vinyl, heavy cover, A2 poster and huge 8 page booklet!
Social Crisis from Poland, teams up with their friends of Monday suicide from Belarus. Perfect D-beat crust band with dual female vocals and politic lyrics for Social Crisis and good angry punk-rock for Monday suicide. Two very good bands you have to support!
An all-American line up for this Split LP: Monuments Collapse are from San Francisco, Break Naofa from Seattle, and both provide epic slabs of doomed crust. The split is the shoegazeing bastard offspring of Neurosis and Fall Of Efrafa, with the influential cousin Converge adding a slight discordancy of the tunes. MC supply the heavier side with meaty, chugging riffs flowing beneath the beautifully eerie guitar tone and back of the hall vovals. Break Noafa have a more relaxed/laid back sound (expect for the last 80 seconds of their 2nd track "VIII" when it gets all chuggy). Both BN tracks are sprawling journeys that moroph from post-hardcore into dream-state crust and back again. Glorious
This one gives a shit about trends. Mörser are the Bremen-based Old School Deathmetal-Powerhouse since 15 years! This album is the resurrection of what was called ‘Bremer Schule’ in the late nineties of the last millennium: A brutal bastard of Groove, Deathmetal and Grindcore making no compromises to alternate with instrumental parts and some painful dissonances. Mörser are ready for 2011 - First Class Suicide is the evidence.
MORO MORO LAND is the absolutely terrifying "tenebris". A furious number with black metal-esque bile and a palpable sense of anger. The truth is that they deliver an ultraviolent music in the wake of great bands like CELESTE, SHORA or DEATHSPELL OMEGA. Even if the point isn't to produce the most inovative shit, MORO MORO LAND manages to blow everything on its way. No silence, no compromise.
Old-school thrash metal (Athens, Greece). Remastered version, comes with printed inner-sleeve and it's limited to 250 hand-numbered copies. Released by Weird Face Productions.
Greensboro, NC’s Mourning Cloak, made up of members of Torch Runner, Graf Orlock & Braveyoung (Giant). No Visible Light clocks in at just over 33 minutes of crushing riffs, devastating beats and thunderous vocals. “No Visible Light.” The title is apt, because this is an ominous cloud blocking the sun, raining down charcoal dust, black mud, and infant ash on us all. Their Facebook page refers to their music as “funeral doom/punk,” but I only hear the former in this track. But this doesn’t sulk through the cemetery, it grooves hard enough to split the catacombs in half, releasing the crypt bats into the air. After the quickly dissipating opening ambience the guitars crawl from open graves and shake the rust off their bones with godless black-and-blues riffs. There is suck a thick layer of slime and sludge on this song that it reminds me of that barrier of grime and giant centipedes Indiana Jones’ love interest sticks her hand through in Temple of Doom. If you don’t get that reference, here it is in non-geek language: This song is nasty and unpleasant in the most sadistically delightful ways possible. The vocalist sounds like he’s plummeting into a bottomless pit, haking hands with the devil to make a pact to finally break his fall. This is some seriously bleak stuff that fans of Bongzilla and Cough should feverishly inhale.
new west/midwest punk/hc band featuring ex and current members of Herds, Call Me Lightning, Manipulation, Condenada, Zebras, Permanent Ruin, and more.
a passionate, melodic, stirring and heavy 10 song debut LP made up of equal parts heavy US hardcore and European melodic punk. think Ballast meets From Ashes Rise meets Gorilla Biscuits. i am NOT kidding. this is the punk record of 2013.
They manage to be at the same time brutal and old-school as fuck. Their influences don’t originate from a single source. Their mentors are foremost early Slayer and the meisters of blasphemous USDM: mostly Immolation and early Morbid Angel, but also Deicide, Incantation and more recently Sadistic Intent (fuck yeah!). They have great riffs and devastating beats which are served by a raw, organic production courtesy of Joe Cincotta (Suffocation, Criminal Element). That’s not all though since they display quite a diverse, intercontinental background like on ”Epitaph” which kicks off swedish-style a la Unleashed, or “Extinction” with the cool Slayer-esque guitar leads and its great melodic riffing.
You will suffer under high voltage of the My Minds Mine and Sick Of Stupidity. Dutch Grindcore pioneers are back.
Graphic design by Maciej Kamuda.
