“The most soaring, magnificent, ethereal cathedrals to reason, faith or anything else were as mere unkempt and dilapidated hovels compared to the constructions – if they could even be described as such – within the Sublime.” (Iain M. Banks, The Hydrogen Sonata)
“Sublimation” is an album recorded by 4 guys who appreciate good sci-fi literature and enjoy playing riff-centric, rhythmically intense underground music.
It has been heavily inspired by the late Iain M. Banks’ concept of Sublimation, as explored in the master’s final sci-fi novel, “The Hydrogen Sonata”.
It is Dephosphorus’ 4th full-length album and it presents a few notable differences compared to the rest of their discography, which are up to the audience to find out.
Old allies of the band have joined forces for the physical release: Selfmadegod (Poland) for the CD, 7 Degrees Records (Germany) and Nerve Altar (USA) for the black vinyl edition which includes a poster, with a clear version of 100 copies reserved for pre-orders (both black and clear versions have been pressed to 180g wax).
Last but not least, the record’s atmosphere has taken visual shape thanks to Viral Graphics.
Third full album of this Greek band self-described as "astrogrind". 9 songs of dark and violent mixture of death metal, grindcore and even black metal. The concept and aesthetics draw influences from cosmology, astronomy and science fiction literature, as well as the associated sociopolitical and existential repercussions. For fans of CHERUBS, TERRORIZER, REGURGITATE, INSISION with a black metal touch.
"The band exists between dimensions; thematically with their sci-fi influences, but also sonically. It is a balancing act between different worlds of extreme metal. From the brutality of death metal and the volatility of grindcore, to the venomous touch of blackened influences and the attitude of hardcore, Dephosphorus mould these diverse worlds into a fiery result." - CVLT Nation
"Impossible Orbits is largely an enjoyable experience, and probably the best grind album so far this year." - Yourlastrites
"So what does this all sound like? Well, if you sent anarchists out into the farthest reaches of the galaxy to form space-squats, they would play some sort of cosmic crust-grind, altered by the journey: the genre’s dystopian anger transmuted into fervent hunger for a real future, and wide-eyed reverence for the approaching stars." - The Quietus

Dawn heist's brand new album 'Catalyst' explores the concept of reality in 3 different forms. The first being 'subjective reality', which explores a very introverted lyric theme mixed with a much more lush and grand soundscape. The second being 'objective reality' Which takes a more aggressive approach to the instrumentation and deals with much darker and tormented subject matters within the lyrics. And lastly, 'virtual reality' a showcase of digital elements to which the band blends seamlessly in to their rhythmic assault The album also tells a story of one individual's experience within each type of reality through a journey from servant to saviour to outcast. Although, in keeping within the bands goal of breaking tradition and doing something different, the story bends the perception of time and is told in reverse.
Damage Digital is a nervous GrindCore band with HardCore influenced from Japan with dual male and female vocalist. 5 unreleased songs. DEAD FLESH FASHION is Germany’s Hardcore/Sludge monster! They deliver a real brutal full length with “Anchors”. There already was a killer demo recorded earlier, but it’s nothing compared to this masterpiece. 11 songs of pure brutalness combined with some more quiet & atmospheric parts. You directly dive into this record with the first song and you get the impression of what’s still coming. Heavy guitars, insane bass playing and, holy shit, a distorting, unique voice. Their live shows are unbelievable. If you’re on one side into The Secret, the old heavy parts of Cult Of Luna, The Ocean and stuff like that and on the other into the grooves of Coalesce there’s no chance to not like this sweet record. The guys just finished recording their second full length called “Thorns”, so be sure to have an eye on this band. Highly recommended.
The third full album of the living legends from Bialystok, Poland. "Brain Corrosion" was originally released in 2004 on CD (Obliteration Records) and in 2006 on LP (Selfmadegod Records). It's been out of print for a very long time. Finally reissued on CD and housed in a digipak. 22 ultra fast and merciless goregrind songs + one bonus song previously available on vinyl version + bonus multimedia "Live In Shinjuku Wall" video from Tokyo, November 21st 2003.
4th album by this german death metal beast with 10 new tracks of relentless uncompromising fury showing their unholy horns by mixing bone crushing twin-guitar riffing, insane guttural growls and bestial blastbeat drumming. Heavily inspired by the glorious 90s US death-metal movement but at all times following their own path. Recommended for fans of SUFFOCATION, CANNIBAL CORPSE or DEICIDE. Sick and perfectly brutal coverartwork by Mike Hrubovcak/MONSTROSITY
Poland-based death metal destroyers DEIVOS present the band's annihilating sixth studio full-length "Casus Belli". 8 songs of highest calibre brutal and technical death metal for fans of SUFFOCATION, CRYPTOPSY, DECAPITATED, MORBID ANGEL. The album was recorded at several different locations including Roslyn Studio (DIRA MORTIS, MORT'A'STIGMATA, STILLBORN) and Zed Studio (DECAPITATED, KAT) mixed and mastered at Zed Studio by Tomek Zalewski.
The ultimate and final compendium of long lost and unreleased songs from San Francisco's legendary industrial/death metal/crust cult Depressor, remastered, re-packaged and elevated to the status of audio/visual shrine in honor of one of the heaviest and most elusive and visionary underground American punk/metal bands of our times.
"Hell Storms Over Earth" is the final statement in what was Depressor's glorious late 90's/early 00's "crust era", when the band abandoned the polished and well-produced Godflesh-worshiping drum machine-based industrial metal sound of its early and mid 90's beginnings (as seen in the iconic "Filth" and "Grace" demo releases) and opted to home-record everything thereafter on a four track recorder and steer their sound toward a more death metal/crust hybridized sound influenced by bands like Amebix, Celtic Frost, GISM, Voivod, Discharge and Napalm Death. This move pushed the band's sound over the edge into a void of despair and yielded a blown out low end dirty sound of utmost rawness and hatred. These are not only long lost or downright never before heard tracks from a legendary Bay Area cult band then at the forefront of change and renovation, but a priceless document of their times, a snapshot of an era long gone and forgotten, and a window opened into a time of turmoil and struggle which yielded some of the most dark, visionary and thought-provoking punk/metal hybridizations of our times.

If Desolatevoid’s debut, Self Medicated Psycho Therapy (2006), contained enough filthy groove to be the aural equivalent of dipping your toes in a used colostomy bag the size of Lake Superior, its follow up, No Sign of Better Times, will find the listener fully submerged. Allow opening track, “Isolation Embrace,” to be the unexpected violent shove from behind that sends you careening from the relative safety of the shore into the stench and the muck. It is a song as fast and remorseless as a down swing in today’s Stock Market. Lyrics are awash in paranoia, alienation, and rage. Andy's vocals display more of a range this time, while somehow managing to sound even more bestial. The rhythm section of Tim (drums) and Nick (bass) is driving and tight. And the riffs and leads, laid down by newcomer Stolp and veteran Brent K., are heavy and contagious (the spectre of founding member Patrick Sova all over this album). In fact, this album is a 30-minute summation of the last 30 years of heavy metal. There’s the doomy groove of “Crimes Against My Sanity” (clever), the jet black punk junk of “Wreckage of Yesterday,” the black metal flourishes of “Way Past Wits End,” the classic death/grind opening and thrashy breakdown of “Fucked and Furious,” and surprise of surprises, the NWOBHM riff spread throughout the album’s opus, “Amongst the Scattered Pills.” It’s Metal History 101, kids. Get off the bit torrents.
So here it finally is. The debut CD of those 5 sparkling, good looking - no more so young - men from southgermany (ex-almost everything; luzifers mob, dead beat, stack, fear is the path to the dark side etc.) Formed in ´96, with a short break, they're back in the line up of the "legendary" DemoTape and recorded these 14 tracks of thrashy, melodic, pissed off rocking HC/PUNK with P.P.C. lyrics (political, personal, cynical). This is the most innovative thing that happen-ed to mankind since wet toilet paper and this is taking a piss on loserbands like early Poison Idea, early R.K.L. and others (forgive me, holy Pig Champion, for that I have sinned.. please don't sit on my face! No!) Crushing artwork, real good studio recording, and guided by the spirit of the 80-ies, but dusted-off! So do yourself a favour and swallow this pill of raging HC/ PUNK! BACK ON THE MAP!
This is the CD version of the debut album from Philadelphia’s unchained grind trio, DIE CHOKING, co-released with New York-based THE COMPOUND RECS. who released the LP version. "III" sees the band delivering seemingly implausible heaviness delivered at an absolutely unstoppable velocity, the eleven tracks on III deliver even faster BPM-rates and more complicated arrangements than the band’s prior releases, merging more elements of hardcore punk and crust with their blinding speed/grind metal. Socio-political topics as intense as the music itself permeate each blazing anthem, which continue the ongoing theme carrying through from their smoldering self-titled release and subsequent II 7” releases, with tracks XI through XXI. With an already unfuckwithable track record built through their prior releases and their insatiable need to play their tunes at maximum speed in the live setting as often as possible, DIE CHOKING – featuring ex and current members of TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION, COP PROBLEM, and BURDEN – is about to take things to the next level with their debut full-length. All in all, “III” is one of the heaviest grindcore albums ever conceived. Written during the shitty Northeastern Winter months, it is an album stripped of overproduction, performed with devastating efficiency, and dripping with a foul aggression that is frequently absent in today’s extreme music landscape. “III” was recorded, engineered, and mixed by Will Yip (LAURYN HILL, CIRCA SURVIVE, COP PROBLEM) at Studio 4 and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (BAPTISTS, FROM ASHES RISE, NAILS). There are no samples, no triggers. The band simply drilled the takes until they hit it. The debut album from Philly’s most unhinged act is one of the most violent, high-speed releases of recent months!
A must have for fans of BRUTAL TRUTH, NAILS, INSECT WARFARE, NOISEAR.
"An all out brutality fest will take place in your brain once you hear this album! From the very first to the last moment of this album, this band wants to punish, and they do a pummeling job of just that!" – CVLT Nation
“Die Choking serves in part as a venue for its musicians to push their abilities to the limits, and these tracks are indeed withering workouts — as fast and scathing as any metal you’ll hear this year, with extra emphasis courtesy of engineer Will Yip (Circa Survive, Blacklisted, and, uh, Lauryn Hill)’s exacting production. That’s saying a lot, given how high the ceiling’s gotten for speed and brutality in metal’s more extreme marches.” – Sterogum.com
"Comprised of former and current members of Total Fucking Destruction, Cop Problem and Burden, Philadelphia's own Die Choking are prepared to grind you into oblivion with debut full-length III (...)" – Decibel Magazine

This trio is active since 2012 and those guys really know what the oldshool heart is longing for. Top notch Blastbeats nearly at the speed of sound, dirty buzzsaw guitar-& bass-sound and guttural growls and high pitched screams. served with at times humorous lyrics to serious themes. Brutal!

Dying Humanity’s new album is called “LIVING ON THE RAZOR'S EDGE“. Visually supported by a stunning comic-styled artwork (once again by Gustavo Sazes), “LIVING ON THE RAZOR´S EDGE“ tells the tale of a woman that experiences all the hardships mankind is able to provide from a broken home over drugs, hypocrisy and abuse until a bitter end. Unfortunately, a story that is all too real nowadays especially in our rich, well-stuffed society.
