HARDCORE. BURY ME STANDING: Hailing from the USA (Tuscon, Az) comes this awesome band; which carrying on the tradition of politically motivated bands. BURY ME STANDING play tech-nical metalcore with emo influences, sometimes straight on metal, sometimes in a chaotic emo vein. Think of earlier CAVE IN regarding the metal, UNBROKEN when it co-mes to mosh, and GRADE concerning melodic and heavy rocking Emo. MAN VS. HUMANITY: German hardcore is on the rise again. Once more one new highly recommend full flamming song from the southern depts. MAN VS. HUMANITY absolutely fit into that hectic chaos metal type thing along the lines of COALESCE, CONVERGE with more mosh here and there; even more extreme and varrying than on their amazing Split and debut 7". The second song is a techno remix, with soundcapes & beats = sounds really interesting. A fat production and an awesome outstanding cover/booklet (done by André Liegl) of course.
The UK can be a grim place at times. Come visit Leicester and/or Hereford sometime. Mangle make the most stripped-down, zero bullshit hardcore powerviolence of any band around. A ferocious, single-minded blast of pure fury. Fetus Christ have a sense of humour, but it's still vicious, bizarre, fuzz-tinged thrashing hardcore on the verge of grinding its own head off.
The Mansion Congregation Hymns Vol. 1. should be perceived as a warning. This release goes to show that even the most enlightened may be seduced by evil. When Mother Alma with congregation members differing from the familiar Mansion line-up set out to create spiritual hymns glorifying the devotion to our cause, something unexpected happened. The group experienced demonic seduction, which resulted in despicable behaviour manifested in the recording session. Details shall remain confidential.
Two tracks were recorded to accompany my lyrics with music contradictory in nature to the texts. My initial reaction to the hymns was distress. The thought of our Mother as a puppet on the string for the dark one still brings chills to my spine.
These devilish hymns are lustful and flirtatious. The congregation exposes the hymns to the public in shame, but with a solemn hope that it will serve as documentation of forces moving in the shadows ready to lead us astray.
The listener may experience tempting sensations when exposed to the hymns. Use this recording as a reminder that spiritual adversity may lead to detestable acts. Never take heed to temptation. Know the enemy. Stay strong in your faith.

Oh yes! The demo was cool, and this is great! The first vinyl output by Midnight Crisis from Leipzig / Germany, rowdy hardcore-punk with a huge 80s Finland-hardcore influence, always between midtempo and full speed ahead. Comes with a beautiful cover drawn by the Silver Mullet of Death (which fits perfect, I’d say).
Maximum Rock’n’Roll: I went to Leipzig, Germany once and went to a show that was in this super bombed-out, postapocalyptic abandoned communist housing-project. They had shows on the bottom floor, a kitchen and housing around the middle, and one of the best record stores I’ve ever been ti towards the top. The show was great and it was one of the most punk-positive affirming moments in my life. Midnight Crisis is from Leipzig and this EP makes me feel giddy in the same way as that trip. Despite their hometown they sing in Finnish (they share a vocalist with Herätys) and their whole sound is drenched in early 80s Finnish hardcore filth with a hint of Oi! in parts. The lyrics are translated into English, making it a little more accessible. The artwork looks like how I remember Leipzig, and the liners are filled with every punk doodle you could ever want. If you like fun and early 80s Finnish hardcore then this is something that you don’t want to miss.
MINDLESS comes at you full force with seven songs in just under eight minutes. Bringing their own unique style of hook driven hardcore with very present grindcore and power violence influences, MINDLESS will drown you in negative noise. Very reminiscent of a record in the 90's that would be on Pessimiser or Slap A Ham. Same goes for the aesthetic of the artwork, UGLY. DARK. ANGRY. Each song is layered with tempo changes ala CROSSED OUT, SPAZZ and specifically INFEST - NO MAN'S SLAVE. Buzzsaw guitars over carefully crafted blasting paired with blown out female-fronted gut-wrenching vocals. If you are looking for something to furiously bang your head to, pick up this 7"!
Graanrepubliek: Of course i’m partcipating in a new split record involving Moloch. Especialy when they’re sharing that split with Haggatha from Canada. Two of the heaviest bands around on one 7” record. What else can you ask for? Well not much. Moloch continues along their path of hateful Eyehategod –esque path of filthy sludge. From the first feedback it’s clear Head of Coil is one of those tracks that won’t be holding back. Superheavy, filled with riffs and anger. Moloch at their prime. Heavy hitters Haggatha on the flip side come with a heavy slow track which sounds like a perfect mixture between Thou, Ensorcelor and Bell Witch. Sludge with beautiful melodies, dual vocals and massive guitars. Massive in every way really. This is one serious heavy record.
French punk/fardcore band influenced by bands like Trap Them, Unkind or Ekkaia. They started the Loma Prieta euro Tour (5 shows with them) and played shows with Oathbreaker, Sailing On, Autarkeia, Panzram, Graf Orlock, Birds In Row, Kabul Golf Club...
The EP has been mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley (Atomic Garden) and is out on white 7" vinyl or CD.
