The bass thunders ahead and together with the drums everything is set up and arranged for brutal breakdowns in order to keep the kids busy in the pit! A name derived from the all-obscuring sound they produce, Ottawa, Ontario’s ECLIPSER spews forth a foreboding polarity of soaring melodies and nightmarish dissonance, coiled together to create a dreadful malaise of blackened death metal promised to starve the light of everything it touches.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Topon Das’ (Fuck The Facts) Apartment 2 Studio, and engineered by Scott Burniston, the band’s impending debut, Pathos, is a culmination of their first year of writing as a unit. Instrumentally, ECLIPSER delivers an emotionally disturbing sonic landscape comprised of dense and transcendent atmospheres interrupted by frantic, anxiety-inducing riffs, blastbeats and a multi-dimensional barrage of ravenous screams, blood curdling shrieks, and harsh guttural lows. Conceptually, Pathos is a cryptic and abysmal collection of bleak philosophies, exploring esoteric theologies such as hermeticism and alchemy. Laden with contrast between religious and blasphemous connotations and the overall notion that the human condition is something to overcome, the record is as pulverizing as it is thought-provoking.

Enola  is a quintet from Toulouse, born in 2012. Thomas (ex-Death Valley Club,  ex-Cheval), Mitch (Vauban), Stef (Auriga), Arnaud (Auriga) and Jordi  (Feed the Cat, My Own Private Alaska, Shape ) distill a chaotic hardcore  mixed with oppressive atmospheres. After a few EPs (The light from  below in 2014, Volutes in 2017), the group has forged a solid experience  of the scene alongside confirmed bands such as Hypno5e, Presence of  Soul, Storm [o], Ingrina, Guevnna or The Rodeo Idiot Engine.

At  the end of 2019, Enola stabilizes his line-up. They recorded their  first album Inner Ruins in late 2020, mastered by Thibault Chaumont of  Deviant Lab (Birds in Row, Trepalium, Carpenter Brut, Mass Hysteria…).
