After a 7" and several tours through the North American continent, Canada's grinding hardcore band WAKE's first longplayer combines a good dose of blastbeats, sludgy midtempo parts, doublebass machinegunfire and sometimes even melodic crusty outbursts into a fresh own style. With the brutal wall of sound, mixed and mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound, this album is a monster!

WE ARE THE DAMNED, Portugals first and finest address concerning pure old school metallic punk, return with a brand new full-length on Bastardized Recordings. The new album entitled HOLY BEAST delivers 14 brand new relentless and savage tracks. The Album bleeds and sweats the atmosphere of pure old school metallic punk anthems, unleashing a new found ferocity, nihilistic rage and intensity. The band approaches a whole new concept on both death metal and punk styles. HOLY BEAST was tracked down early in 2010 by Swedish producer Ulf Blomberg, responsible for albums by groundbreaking bands such as Exhale, Inevitable End or End Of All. Ulf was a natural choice due to his visionary look towards the band's new material. The result is a new vicious and shocking atmosphere that will sure appeal to fans of most genres. WE ARE THE DAMNEDs most vicious album to date will appeal to the indecent and obscene, a truly uncompromising album that explodes in the face of fashion!
When Midnight Kills started to out as a all-star group with members from Spinkick and As We Fight. The band was located in Fredericia, but with changing line-ups etc. The group was spread all over Europe. It’s pretty brutal metalcore that the band delivers, but with changing members and more serious acts the members went on to other bands, and created various and very different stuff. It was a good time while it lasted, but the main bands took over and this project slowly died, unfortunately!
The other band on this split is Foot To Face. It’s pissed off and take no prisoners hardcore with metallic approach to the style. It’s fucking brutal hardcore with a diverse sound and is definitely the best musically project in the city I’m from: Odense! It’s technical and aggressive with brutal shouted vocals, and the lyrics are about atheism and Satanism, so it’s all good.
2 mg Rivotril. For kids into: Diverse and 2 really different metallic bands, that deliver some of the pissed-off energy that’s the basis for proper hardcore.
Disgustingly fast & nasty grindcore from Singapore. Abuse (2009 release) contains 23 songs in under 22 minutes - brutal.
Forged in the sweltering heat of the Arizona sun in 2014, WOUNDVAC is an unrelenting grind machine. After five years of shows and a handful of west coast tours, the band has cemented their place in Phoenix’s burgeoning heavy music scene. Self-releasing two EP’s — 2016’s Disgraced Convert and 2017’s Infamy as well as a number of splits and last year’s highly praised debut Terrorizing The Swarm, WOUNDVAC are looking to broaden their scope with their latest effort The Road Ahead, set to drop this fall. Captured at Sound Signal Studios with Zack Rippy (Wristmeetrazor), mastered at Audiosiege by Brad Boatright (Converge, Integrity, Obituary) with cover art by Bite Radius Designs (Misery Index, Napalm Death, Benighted), WOUNDVAC‘s uncompromising mix of grind, hardcore punk, and death metal is expertly executed on this new EP and is spotlight on why they are the proverbial breath of fresh air in the crowded scene.
