Tape - Reissue of the 1994 Cgerman HC Punk Classic
Surely one of the most important german hardcore-releases of the '90s, a non-compromising, brutal, US-influenced hardcore-sound combined with equally-minded (mostly german) lyrics!
Screaming Victims Distro proudly presents their MCD officially released on 2012 , now available on Pro Tape format!!! Greek Death Grind Masters !!!Limited in 200 Copies
HERIDA PROFUNDA are a band from Poland and they play Old School Grindcore, Crust, brutal as fuck and super heavy stuff in the vein of TERRORIZER, REPULSION, old AGATHOCLES, NAPALM DEATH, ... .
HELLBASTARD from the UK, they so-called godfathers of Crust, deliver material that already appeared on their "The Need To Kill ..." LP but here you get different versions or mixes as well as unreleased material. Modern HELLBASTARD got adult now, they play variable but still crushing Thrash Metal without forgetting their "ancient" Crust roots.
Herida Profunda kept us “busy” when they released a 12” split with one of the behemoths of crust, HELLBASTARD. Last summer they released another split, one of 7”, with Hello Bastards (a collective of musicians from Argentina, Brazil and Poland), in which it seems they are trying to answer the question “art of the sake of art or engaged art”. Hey you, yes you laughing because I use the term art for their brutal sound. You should consider that any music expression is art. Fast, loud and, of course, with short duration songs that are equally good for violence in the mosh pit and as an anger management method constitute this short release. I think that the Herida Profunda/Hello Bastards split is the epitome of the phrase “In Grind we Crust”, so… open a new browser tab, log in bandcamp and enjoy (though you are responsible if you experience side effects like breaking everything around you). On the other hand if you are annoyed by their political views in their music… Tough luck. It’s your loss.
With 'XII', Hexis present their most relentlessly aggressive record to date, resembling a deeply chaotic tortured soundtrack to a descent into hell itself. At just 16 minutes in length, 'XII' offers an even deeper glimpse into the abyss.
Following shortly after their phenomenal sophomore album, ‘Tando Ashanti’ which came out on Halo of Flies and Alerta Antifaschista Records just 6 months ago, ‘XII’ shows Hexis at their very best. Fierce, uncompromising and relentless from the start, ‘XII’ offers zero respite to the listener. A dissonant and nihilistic wall of noise crafted by hideous riffs and incessant drumming showcase the sound that Hexis are renowned for; the abrasiveness of black metal perfectly fused with the subtle grooves of hardcore punk.
Whilst hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, Hexis have spent most of this year on the road. Booking and playing shows (with no management or agents) all over the planet. The band have played more than 125 shows in over 30 countries in 2017 alone, with an extensive tour of the US and more still to come before the year is out. With their powerful live performances, incredible DIY work ethic and now two ferocious releases in such a short space of time, its easy to see why Hexis are held in such high esteem by the underground Scene.
